I’ve just moved to the city and these are the restaurants at which I’ve dined.

I should also mention Brocato’s because we’ve done dessert there the last 4 Friday nights.

I’m trying to knock out a lot of classics then will move on to more ethnic and hole in the walls (although there is a share of those in my list).

We’ve been trying to get to Clancy’s, and haven’t forgotten about Galatoire’s, Arnaud’s, Brennan’s and Commanders. Also August, Miss River, Vincent’s.

La Petite Gro, and Gabrielle are probably after Clancy’s.

What else? How have we done so far?

We’ve been to Peche and Fins… just not since the move. Quality rec’s. Thank you.

I’ll look into the others.

Request upstairs. It’s much quieter and makes for a better experience imo.

Looks like you've got a lot of Metairie places there. Add Giorlando's for a casual lunch or dinner to that list and Austin's for a nicer dinner, both in Metairie.
Chargrilled oysters at Dargo's is a must too.

I really enjoy Ye Olde College Inn which is in New Orleans proper.

It’s an oldie but a goodie. Mr. B’s

Also, definitely hit up Alon Shaya’s new place at the Four Seasons - Miss River

Add some classics like Arnaud’s, Galatoire’s, Commanders Palace. They are pricey but if you are claiming to do a tour of Nola dining, you should at least have one of these on the list.

Yeah, I forgot to list Drago’s. I’ve been there twice since moving and probably 20 times in my life. We also had one in Lafayette.

My wife loves B’s. We had a reservation there one Friday and ended up at Pelican Club.

We definitely need to hit some Shaya spots!

I focused on the list and didn’t make it this far, seems like there is a few options on the list closer to the lake side, blue oak bbq is always good, liuzzas for the frenchulatta (muffuletta poboy), Katie’s in mid city, and mid city pizza (t-bird special) we’re some of the spots I liked living in that area.

Clancy’s is so good. Veal chop is heaven. And don’t sleep on the pork chop. That mofo is delicious. You won’t go wrong with anything there.

Nice list. I'd suggest N7 in the Bywater.

I had it for the first time a couple of weeks back and the short walk to City Park made for an awesome picnic. Thumbs up on the brisket.
