Nolagt is giving me a good hook up for some things but i thought I'd ask you foodies as well.

It's a sandwich, salad, iced coffees, pastries/desserts type of thing this time around with a focus on healthier options. Definitely very girly.

What are some things that might make you stop? We'll be experimenting with the menu over the next few months so open to all ideas! We're in TN so delicious LA sourced products would be a nice way to help make it stand out.

Shooting to open in October.

If you have a grill / stove top you could do blackened shrimp or chicken salads or blackened shrimp / fish poboys .

A solid chicken salad sandwich. Super fast to sling out the window.

Y’all done this before?

Chicken salad on croissants (can even do “skinny” chicken salad, swapping out full fat mayo for Hellman’s light)

Pimento cheese with homemade Cajun seasoned saltines or romaine “boats” for dipping

Protein-heavy lettuce wrap, think like a Jimmy John’s unwich

Options are endless for healthy paninis if she’s planning to use store bought bread - they have many options that are 30-45 cal. I love a Turkey pastrami/fig preserves/Brie panini.

Freshly made lemonade, especially with flavored syrups like lavender

A soup of the day to go with sandwiches and salads or to be served alone. You're opening in the Fall. Cooler weather will be on the way eventually.

A good grilled cheese option with a bowl of soup sounds good.

Express options. For those in a hurry, the ability to get something fast since food trucks are usually pretty slow.

Gris’ soup option was my food suggestion.

Agreeing with the soup options. Real rich thick soups.

Spinach wrap, grilled chicken, bacon, ranch and veggies wrap.

Blackened Louisiana catfish taco's.

A good homemade slaw burger.

What does she have to cook with/on? Wanting to go mostly premade or cooked to order?

if she had a grill we'd have to go with a full-on grease trap so she's limiting it to a salad station/prep area and a toaster & microwave to heat bacon or toast bread.

she's got this thing:

If wraps or anything that can be made with tortillas are offered, have some low carb tortillas to go with low carb fillings. How about tortilla pizzas?

This and do a pressed muffaletta. Make your own olive mix for extra special.

Oooo. Good idea. If we don't want to try messing our own olive salad what is the closest thing to central?

Since the low carb tortilla idea is probably a no-go, how about offering sandwich or wrap options in a bowl, sans bread or wrap?

Good ideas. I think the low carb tortilla is still on the table. Always good to have a keto option available.

look for the jarred olive mix (may have to order from nola and have it shipped)

salads and veggie sandwiches are all about the dressing, make homemade or get really good ones. Do not serve wilted, mushy, or browned veggies ever. for any reason.

chicken salad is the way- smoked or the one with fruit cranberries or grapes in addition to regular
