You are correct, I hate the taste of it and I hate the look of it, it just says "I can't cook worth a shite". It does not improve anything it is put into, a little cream, butter and flour and about 5 minutes replaces all the cream of glop soups in the world.
When we have to go see Aunt Marge and she makes her special chicken, broccoli and rice casserole, I'll save you some.

Sandra Lee, cooking sucks but yes, that one episode when she has low cut shirts is watchable.
Paula Dean, stop with your fricking mayo and butter recipes. Most of what you cook is smothered with those two or cheddar cheese, or deep fried, so you can't taste shite of the dish. And the fatty recipes will kill your already fat self or your husband.
Alton Brown. A thirty minute show on toast???

I love Alton Brown but that maybe because I worked in Food Science my first year at LSU. He's a food scientist and not a chef. You have to know the difference. A chef wouldn't know exactly why something needs to be made more acidic. He/she would just know it works.
