Anyone else tried them?

I'm doing the low carb thing. It's near impossible to make anything Asian, Thai, or Indian without using rice or noodles as a side item. I recently made a basil chicken curry and in desperation, used the miracle noodles as a substitute.

Review:

The cooking process is different. They are packed in water which is strange. The water also has a slight smell to it that is off putting. Rinse the noodles, boil them for 2 mins, drain them, then put them in a pan on medium heat long enough to dry them out.

Taste. Well, they don't really taste like anything. It does a good job of absorbing whatever the sauce is. The texture........ Well, it's different. Noodles are soft, but these have a snap to them. You really have to bite through these.

Overall, to avoid carbs, I'll eat them again. There's a rice product too, but I couldn't find it.

I've tried them before but couldn't get over the texture. If going low carb, I think I prefer cauliflower rice or zoodles.

I eat them a lot. Red sauce, cold noodle asian dishes, chicken and pesto etc. I like them better than the other veggie substitutes

Made a "mac" n cheese dish with them last night. Excellent substitute for those keeping carbs low. Cauliflower carbs can add up quickly if you're not careful, but these are fantastic without any of the guilt.

Like someone mentioned earlier, the cooking process is a bit different but very easy and worth it.

Yep I like to brown my cauliflower rice up in the cast iron and get a nice crisp on it. Throw a piece of tuna or salmon on top and drizzle with a siracha mayo. Good shite.

I use a similar product. I prefer it to cauliflower anything. Done Mac and cheese, chicken alfredo, etc

$2.49 per pack at my Whole Foods

Servings are pretty small. I usually split a pack with my wife but I could easily knock out 1 pack myself

You can also order them on Amazon, which is what I usually do.

Walmart has them in the cold produce section near the wonton wrappers, pre-made guac and salsa.

So I read this thread. I get an email 5 minutes later from amazon trying to sell me a product called Better Than Noodles (4 carbs per serving). Not ordering them but this thread has me ordering the miracle noodles.

I think it works well in cold Asian noodle dishes, but gives me the willies for red sauce or alfredo.

I use them for Pho and a Thai red curry soup I make. I agree they're not good for western pasta dishes.
