Fresh foods that haven't been boiled to death and that aren't full of preservatives often do.

The bread that I buy also goes stale within a couple of days at most too.

Lol. I really enjoy reading the musings of the pale weak white kid who's lost in New York with a head full of stupidity. Quality entertainment.

Aww, did I make you cry because I insulted your processed foods? I'd challenge you to a fizeek contest anytime, Susan.

Imagine calling eating fresh foods and promoting them as most beneficial "stupidity". Well, imagine it from anyone other than MobileJosh. How are those metallurgy studies going, Susan?

I understand that, but even small changes where practicable can be beneficial.

Interestingly wife and I were discussing this awhile back. She buys HEB Organics whole milk. This stuff has an expiration date often 3-4 weeks away.

Not sure if it is ultra-pasteurized or what.

Never have this issue with Horizon Organic milk. But when I've switched back to Kleinpeter due to Horizon being unavailable, it always goes bad in a few days.

Stop drinking your milk out of the carton.

I don't know where y'all buy milk but I get Kleinpeter and usually go through a gallon in about a week and a half, and haven't had issues with early expiration. I do always get the latest expiration date in the fridge though when I'm shopping. As other people have said Costco is solid as well. I like Fairlife but I hesitate to call that milk. More of a milk product or something like that.

Yes it is and sometimes a week early. I’ve started pushing it way back in the fridge. Last one I bought made it, finally.

One thing. When a person takes a swig from the carton, it will go bad sooner due to bacteria transfer from your mouth. Not suggesting you are. But I’d bet some do, especially if they live alone or are the sole milk drinkers in their home.

I’ve had some white bread o moldy with the week, less than a week. Maybe it’s the weather we’ve been having, bc it’s not happened until recently.

That’s not milk. Last I checked they don’t have nipples.

How does one find this in Louisiana? I would love to pay extra for raw milk

It's not legal in LA, but if you really want it and understand the risks, look for ads from small dairies selling raw milk for "pet food."

I agree. And I was very reluctant to start buying it. But the macros and the fact that I’m mostly using it for protein shakes for my kids makes it worth it since I don’t have to smell my 13 year old’s milk farts all night anymore.

I am lactose intolerant so I get the lactose free milk. Everyone else in the house drinks regular milk. And it goes bad fast. But lactose free milks last a long time. And to me, it tastes so much better. Now we only buy the lactose free milk and don't have to worry about it getting spoiled.

Ah yes. The ole “Not for Human Consumption” label. You’ll see those even in states where it’s legal to sell.

I’m glad I’m not the only one noticing this. I’ve poured out enough milk to make up for the price difference of organic. Definitely not on board with the non milk alternatives tho.
