It's been a while since I've been there but you can't go wrong with a Guitreau.

Pretty good fried seafood, like it for what it is, old school dry house not a trendy new place

Charbroiled oysters and crabmeat au gratin are good as well

Oysters Bienville is always my go to there. The fried crab claws are legit and so are the Fried seafood plates.

Mike's had a recurring special a while back that was pan-fried trout with a lemon garlic butter sauce topped with lump crab meat that was outstanding. I want to say that they put it on the menu recently but I don't see it online.

If you like trout, try that! I loved it. As others have said, the fried shrimp, oysters bienville, and chargrilled oysters are great go-tos.

I grew up around there and still live in the area. Fantastic fried food, specifically the shrimp. The fried crab claws are great as well. Really good chargrilled oysters. Also, the gumbo is phenomenal. All the entrees (Mike's Specialties) are kind of too rich for me, and overpriced.

The lunch specials are the best deal in town. Enjoy

They recently changed the menu, I am sure they removed that. Another item removed was potato salad...wtf, is it that hard to make potato salad everyday?

Fried Shrimp were the gold standard until my mother made them better. Great onion rings. Oysters very good, and oddly enough I enjoy their house salad with the Italian dressing.

They had a fish dish called the Sid Gautreaux. Is that still available off menu?
