Mexican Pizza Update: Pulled from menu

I ordered a couple from Doordash on a whim on a Friday night and it was awful. Seemed like they made them that morning.
That may have been an anomaly, but that's my experience.
It didn't look anything like the picture in your link. I don't even think it had tomatoes on it. The tortilla was stale and the meat was cold.

Here was mine from the other day. I think Yolanda backed up 20 paces and threw it in the box. Tasted ok despite being poorly assembled and mishandled.

It could be the fact that they didn`t help the situation out by giving free mexican pizzas to everyone who had the Taco Bell app. The one I had was nothing close to the picture. It was meat and beans in between the shell and and at least 4 ounces of the red sauce smothered and dripping off with very little cheese on top and no tomatoes. Of course i grew up in the 80's and 90`s so i know what they started as and what they used to look like with green onions and black olives. It`s a shame one of the most popular items was removed in the first place.

McDonalds does this with the McRib every year... make people think they remember how hood it is and when it comes back they come back in droves ordering it
