Going to be cooking for 17 people three meals a day minus some eating out for dinners.
Staying in a place with almost a commercial kitchen.
Need some suggestions. We arrive Sunday night and staying to the following Sunday.
Sunday night—burgers, chips, dips, tomato and mozzarella salad with basil and olive oil. Make enough burgers for lunch leftovers
Monday breakfast—breakfast casseroles and fruit
Monday lunch—burgers, ham/turkey sandwiches, fruit. Shrimp pasta salad
Monday dinner—shrimp boil, salad, French bread—what else? Where to get shrimp?
Tuesday breakfast—pancakes bacon, fruit
Lunch—pimento cheese sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, shrimp pasta salad
Dinner—
Wednesday breakfast—eggs, bacon, sausage
Lunch—leftovers from previous lunches
Dinner—fried seafood—oysters, shrimp, hush puppies, salad, fries—
Thursday
Breakfast—?
Lunch—?
Dinner—?
Friday
Breakfast—?

Saturday—?
Lunch—?
Dinner—perfect pig as they take reservations
So—I need some meal planning help.
Also—best seafood market in Miramar Beach area? I saw that Joe Patti’s gets recommended and we will drive through Pensacola so could stop there. Thoughts?

Quiche works well for breakfast or lunch with some fresh fruit. You can put in whatever you like to your basic recipe. I made several fresh jumbo lump crab and fresh corn quiches recently and they were delicious. They work really well as leftovers, also. They can be made ahead.
I toss the mixed fresh fruit in a bit of fresh lemon juice and honey.
Real men loved the quiche.
BBQ shrimp with french bread and salad.
West Indies salad on nice lettuce with tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, cold asparagus and/or avocado slices-makes for a pretty and very tasty salad plate.
Grilled fresh fish with sides. Maybe a buerre blanc sauce or a piccata sauce.
Seafood poboys-Fried grouper poboys are delicious.
French toast or french toast casserole.
Tomato pies.
Seafood stuffed mushrooms with lemon butter wine sauce.
Crab cakes.

Will all 17 people be ready to eat every meal at the same time every day? That seems like a headache.
But we almost always do a shrimp scampi pasta at the beach. It's pretty easy to scale up for that many people, and not that many ingredients(shrimp, thin spaghetti, lemons, butter, white wine, garlic, red pepper flakes, parsley, parm cheese).

Did something similar last week except everyone picked a night to cook dinner.
I did Tuesday Taco Night. Pretty simple. Meat enough for everyone, few packs of tortillas, salsa, chips, sour cream, avocados, etc...

Fish tacos with fresh caught red snapper are always a hit with our group.
Shrimp ceviche is also good when the crew is hot and something cool and refreshing sounds nice.
These are staples, so you can find a solid recipe in lots of places.

We did fish tacos one night. Scampi with some crab cakes, shrimp boil (threw in some king crab legs), picked up pizza one night, chargrilled oysters.

Moe’s BBQ to-go is always a great option for feeding a crowd if you want a night off from cooking.

There will be four people in charge of cooking. Rotating meals and all. I just know how hard it's going to be eating out with that many people.
Thanks for the suggestions.

We do 12 adults and 6 kids every year, each family brings a different meal. I make two big pans of whatever at home so I dont have to cook, only warm. Just did pastalaya this year. In years past, ive done red beans, baked ziti, lasagna, shrimp and crab pasta, pork butts, meatballs and spaghetti, jambalaya
Breakfast is always bagels, couple pans of bacon, scarmbled eggs, fruit, yogurt
Lunch is ham and turkey sandwiches and chips

Make a few meals in advance for dinner such as spaghetti or crawfish fettuccine, freeze them and you can really just reheat them on the stove

You need a Mexican night.
You can have all the toppings out.
Have different types of meats.
People can make nachos, tacos, etc.
And you can prep that any time.

FYI went into "Skippers" a seafood market in a strip mall closer to San Destin side. Bought 4 lbs of 15ct shrimp which they steamed for me at no extra charge. Also had fresh Tuna and a couple different kinds of fresh grouper for sale as well. No line. Only had to wait 10mins for them to steam the shrimp. They had regular and royal reds.

Breakfast: I'd do like two all out breakfasts for everyone and then stock the fridge and let people take care of their own. On a beach vacation with 17 people, no way everyone will be up at at em to eat together every morning.
Lunch: Stock lunch stuff and let people make their own sandwiches and finish off leftovers. So no big planned meals here.
Dinner: With only dinner to figure out and eating out two or three times, it should be easy to come up with four or five good ideas. Burger, boils, fish, steak, fried food night. The Mexican night recommendation is a great idea for that many people because it's easy to make in bulk.

Make a pulled pork roast in the crock pot (super easy) and freeze it until you go. Get a bag of slider buns and make pulled pork sliders.
Chicken enchiladas can be frozen ahead of time
