I have had some recent success with Second City Prime. I have enjoyed several different cuts from them over the last year both fresh and aged. Their seasoning and marinade is good as well.

Was wondering if anyone had a go to rec for mail order steaks or butcher?

I don’t buy my beef online but when I want something I can’t get locally I use fossilfarms.com brokearrowranch.com or exoticmeatmarkets.com

Snake River Farms sells gold standard wagyu and dry aged beef. Their meat is high end restaurant quality, and their wagyu brisket is very popular in the competitive bbq scene.

I've also used D'artagnan for Berkshire pork products in the past and highly recommend them also.

My go to for beef is Hassell Cattle Company out of Texas. I do enjoy ordering beef ribs from Snake River, but unless I have a coupon code everything else is high relative to other options. I also enjoy ordering from Porter Road as it’s free shipping over $99 and great quality.

Had a Christmas chest from Crowd Cow. It was every bit as high quality as SRF. Was impressed

Was looking at Snake River but as a few have said, they were high relative to others. May take a look at the Mothers Day discount.

Thanks for the replies.

Snake river farms and double 8 both are expensive, but offer very high end meat. The quality is markedly better than what you’ll find at a Ruth’s Chris, Morton’s, etc.

I just bought a prime rib roast from Snake River Farms thanks to this thread! Coming in time for Mother's Day!

I got the Black grade. I usually get USDA Prime and I want to try this out before forking over the extra cash for Gold.

Dry-Aged Prime ribeyes from Lobel’s of New York are the best I’ve ever had.
