Lunch Spots in Lafayette for Sunday

I’ll be in Abbeville Sunday morning, but will probably grab a meal in Lafayette later that day and I’m looking for recommendations for a good lunch spot.
A lot of places I saw were closed on Sundays. Any good ideas?

Just sayin' .... here's an option only 15 min from Abbeville
or you could do Market Eatz (E. Broussard Rd) which is open on Sundays

Hmm, I think it’ll be a later lunch. I might be finished up in Abbeville around 2-3pm.
I appreciate all the tips so far! Thanks for the options.

Market Eatz does a good weekend brunch business.
OP needs to check the menus online and decide what he wants.

Tula Tacos is open downtown, and it's a pretty decent taco spot with a courtyard in the back.
Riverfront in Abbeville is open from 11-3 on Sunday.

Yeah I'm starting to realize that. I may just have to find a chain restaurant somewhere.
I did look at a bunch of the menus for those places listed, and everything looks great. I'll have to come back and try them soon.

Yeah, alot of good, small local places in Lafayette use Sunday after 2 or 3PM to shut down and rejuvenate for Monday or Tuesday.
You don't have to do a chain-type, unless Walk-On's sounds good. It's not a bad opion.
You can grab pizza and local beer at Deano's or Pizza Village, both in Lafayette.
Fezzo's in Broussard and Scott will still be open. As will Bon Temps Grill and Don's Seafood Hut (I know...a chain, but at least a very good old fashion and delicious seafood gumbo and fried catfish).
If you haven't tried Bon Temps yet, I'd recommend that.

If you're able to leave Abbeville for 2, you could easily make it to Market Eatz (South Lafayette) before they close at 3. It's about a 15 minute drive from Abbeville.
Hot Food Express on Cameron is open until 8 on Sundays.

The brunch burger is a religious experience. It’s one of the last places that’ll cook a burger medium.

French Press is highly overrated.
Fezzo not the greatest.
Bon Temps grill is good & am a frequent visitor.
Shucks in Abbeville is too
