I’ve been to French Press five or six times, two of which were negative experiences. The first was a time when a co-worker ordered grits and grillades. The server waited until she was ready to bring out my burger order and my other co-worker’s eggs Benny order to say that they were out of grits and grillades. WTH? Surely someone could have said something sooner. How do you wait until others are ready to be served to announce this?!

The same two co-workers and I tried another time. My plan was to order the same burger I’d had before. Grits n grillades co-worker told me she’d heard that the burger was off the menu, so I called ahead and was reassured that it was on the menu. Fifteen minutes later, we arrive and order. Server comes back after a bit to tell me they are out of the burgers. Seriously? This time we were able to cancel and walk, as the other orders were not ready to be served.
