If you were in BR's Perkins/Bluebonnet area for a Friday lunch, where would you go?

I used to work around there
Jinya Ramen (I'm off tomorrow and thinking about going there for lunch)
Roman's
Red Robin
Zoe's Kitchen
Sushi Yama

Are you looking for any particular kind of food? I work right around there too.

I think Rouj Creole is great.

In addition to some of the other recs, I'd include Bin 77 and Flambee Cafe.

Had a friend try the new place, Southern Pearl on Perkins. Said it was good and would return.
I don't recall what he said he had, but if they have chargrilled oysters, that would be his go to.

Thanks for all of the suggestions--I definitely hadn't thought of some of these.
How is Flambee Cafe? Menu looks interesting.

I didn't realize that was open yet. It's a nice building for sure.

I’ve only been once and it was okay. It’s owned by the Bistro Byronz people.

Looks like they are still going to be selling Christmas trees in that lot too...which looks kind of weird

does friday lunch mean drinks? Then I'd go Bin 77 or a little further down perkins for Olive or Twist

Rouj Creole, Bin 77 and Bistro Byronz are all good suggestions. BRQ is on the other side of I-10, but it’s good too.
I’ve been to Flambee twice. Don’t really care for it.
