Craving some jumbo fried shrimp with hush puppies and fries with some good tartar sauce, so who has the best in Gonzales/Prairieville/st amant/baton rouge area?

it gets a lot of flack here, but Mike Anderson's has excellent fried shrimp. Not a big fan of their fries though. Get the sweet potato fries

A bit farther down the road but Hymels has really good fried shrimp and they have a specific jumbo on the menu.

Hilltop
Nothing comes close. Fresh tasting, clean, not greasy, delightful.

Why are you always trying to find the cheapest option. Go get your damn shrimp and enjoy a night out.

Kevins is another great spot
Shrimp at Sno's are great too.
