I typically just pick up whatever I need at Walgreens/CVS around my house. I need to stock up for a box social I'm hosting, so I need a good place to stock up. Cheapish would be swell.

I get my Buffalo Trace at Zuppardos. Not always the cheapest, but in stock. Their Titos handle is cheaper than Sams prices.

Love in Denham and only pass through Metairie a few times a month. Where is their new location?

It will be right beside the existing location. Once it is complete, the old building will be demolished.

Does Dorignacs have a good meat department? If they do, I'll give them a shot. Thanks for the recs.

They do have a pretty good meat department but the best one is at Langenstien's on Metairie Road.

Hey I am with you, Costco is my goto but the millennial is asking for Metry. Sams I would think has the cheapest white cans in the area.

Yes, their meat department is pretty good, especially if you want some good steaks. Get one of those old school butchers to cut up what you want.

And they have a great wine and liquor selection.

I'm near Ochsner, so it's a bit closer to my place as well. I don't have a membership, though, and am worried that I would spend $60 for it and then only hit up Costco a few times a year.

Costco is worth it just for non perishables like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent etc. You could stock up on this stuff a few times per year and you would get your $60 worth.

I use Amazon for that stuff, but I'll look into it since they've been slacking on shipping and the prices aren't as great as they used to be.
