Is this something that appeals to you?

They're from a place in Gulfport called Captain Al's. Cost about $25-$30 each.

Bah, if they're having fun then more power to them. Looks like the kind of things people get on vacation.

I got gigantic Bloody Mary from BWI a few years ago with crab fingers lining the rim like a big shrimp cocktail. I think it was from Faidley's.

It was good. Silly, but good.

So you get a bloody mary and a whole lobster for 25-30 bucks? Sounds like a deal to me. Pass the butter.

Just like a Topical Isle hand grenade or a novelty drink from the Las Vegas strip, I wouldn't order it but, I can understand the appeal...

First gal appears to like meals more than drinks, anyway.

I have had one with bacon and grilled shrimp. It was pretty damn delicious.

I think the ridiculous bloody mary trend is starting to cool off but you still see them from time to time. It's fine if people want to order them but the need to give you a plate or something to put all the stuff on or you end up looking like this:

Is that lobster hot or cold?

Do they not even give you a plate on which to eat the lobster and throw away the shell?

I would prefer to just have a regular drink and lobster on a plate with some drawn butter
