Supposedly red wine is the only kind that is acceptable for guys to drink. I've tried many, many times to get used to red wine and I just can't. White wine is 
though. I don't drink wine much anyway.

You should just start with a sweeter red wine. You'll slowly begin to like drier and drier wines.

I've tried various cheap merlots and cabs.. they all just smell and taste like rotten grapes to me 
TBH I rather just keep vodka or whiskey in my freezer and if I feel like getting a buzz on, have some of that. But I don't see anything wrong with a guy getting in touch with his inner wine-o.

I would rather have more friends who drink a glass of wine and smoke a cigar than friends who drink a beer and smoke a cigarette. I don't fit either of those descriptions, though.

A cigar deserves at least a bottle of wine, typically more. I usually have mine with bourbon or scotch but hearty reds are great as well.

Only stigma associated with men and wine is maybe if it's box wine or something. I'll even give that a pass if it's in mixed company and the age is 25 or younger. Bunch of guys 26+ and a box of Franzia, though, there's likely some queer shite about to go down.

Only da gheys drink wine. Real men brink bud in their t-shirts and tighty whities and fart until they shite themselves, cuz das just what real men do. Oh yeah, that and some beer stains on the t-shirt lets everyone know you're a real man cuz we don't want anyone thinking we're ghey, And a big truck with mudders helps too. Cammo and a set of truck nuts and you're safe.
