Went by there today and noticed it looked a little dark and they had a sign on the door saying they have closed.

Amazing, considering the traffic that gets funneled right through that place with ZERO competition

I guess the bad karma from spitting in law enforcement's soft drinks finally came back around.

Is it weird that Las Palmas is my favorite Mexican restaurant?

A step further, is it weird that I moved to Austin, Texas — a city known for tacos and Mexican restaurants everywhere, yet I still haven’t found one I like more than Las Palmas?

What’s wrong with me, baws?

How many are left? Is the one on 73 still open? I wanna say the original one was on Sherwood Forest by Spanky’s. I thought their Jefferson Hwy (where Bergeron’s is now) location was the busiest.

I understand the spelling is different. The one on 73 is Mis Padre’s whereas the one in BR is Mi Padre’s.

The only two left I know of are Central and Highland rd. The one on Sherwood had been closed for awhile now. Some other Mexican place there now.

Highland Rd. out by Alexander's was still open last time I went that way. The one in Brusly is open too; used to eat there occasional when I worked across the river.
