Casino wise, Gordon Ramsey Steak (horseshoe), Vic and Anthony’s (golden nugget), Chart House (golden nugget golf course)

Local places, Mazens, Calla, La Truffe savage or Pat’s of Henderson

Did Ramsey a couple of weeks ago. Service was excellent. Steak had to be sent back as it was cooked well instead of MR but they made it right. 3-400% markup on wine. Better than I expected, overall, for the casino.

Try Luna’s downtown. Their Luna Tuna is awesome and they have really good pita chips.

If you want seafood, try either Steamboat Bill’s (a bit overpriced but it’s good) or Seafood Palace on Enterprise Blvd. Both are very good. Have awesome gumbo. Maybe a 15 minute drive.

You can get take out boiled crawfish at Heinen’s if you want that. It’s at Lake and Country Club. Drive thru only. Probably a ten minute drive from the casino.

You’ll be pressed to find a good chicken fried steak but if you want that, maybe try Southern Spice on Ryan (they close early) or Nina P’s on McNeese.

Me too. I haven't had anything that blew me away there, besides the pizza. which isn't best I've ever had, but it does have a unique crust and taste to it that I really enjoy. The place itself also has a cool, old-school vibe.

Plus, Tony DGAF and just walks around delivering pies with his dick out.

My dad grew up with the family. They are just all good people that dedicated their lives to the family business

Feels like I’m back in the 80s when I walk in there.

That meatball sub just hits different

Why do all SWLA folk insist on adding a S to places that don't have it in their name? The place is called LUNA, look it up. And the grocery store is called KROGER not krogers. This drives me insane because it makes you sound uneducated.

Anyway as another mentioned before in this thread Luna slaps baw. Get a dragon tuna with side of cream spinach. Dip the cream spinach in the sauce from the tuna when you are done. shite is fire.

You know what drives me crazy, people like you on a message board, that think they are more “educated” than everyone else. If grammar mistakes drive you crazy, message boards aren’t the place for you. You can kindly GFY.
