I will be in Lafayette for the weekend and was looking for a good casual type restaurant to eat. Any type of food will do. Just looking for something that is not a chain type joint. TIA!

Bon temps grill makes a damn good ribeye.
Judice Inn has one of the best burgers you'll ever eat.
Fezzo's in Scott (10 minutes from Lafayette) has the best seafood you can get around here.

One of my friends said it best, "Eating at T-Coons was a religious experience. They turned my lunch into a pillar of salt."

The service dipped a bit the last couple times I visited, but the food was still on point.
