B&C is traditional Neapolitan style pizza, it will have some blistering on the crust which some people who aren’t familiar with wood fired pizza will say is “burnt”. They also don’t have “traditional” toppings such as pepperoni, Italian sausage, etc...

I’ve taken people there who are used to “normal” Americanized pizza and they weren’t a fan. Those same people would probably prefer Central Pizza.

Is Alesia’s even good? I’ve been seeing that place for like 30 years but never ate there.

LAFAYETTE people love deanos and pizza village. Deanos is ok I guess but it’s like just meat and dough, no sauce or cheese.

Pizza village was terrible. If you want a hint of flavor just throw the pizza away and eat the box.

Maybe I am just spoiled with pizza shack in Opelousas.

Yeah it is. Pro tip: get your pizza with extra sauce and extra crispy

Man I’m a foodie and I’ve liked their food for a while. Last two times to condense it. Once takeout. Said it was 45 min. Ended up being an hour and a half. I ordered at 4:30. Not prime time. That’s crazy. Anyway when I said something like hey it this late, they were rude and said it takes what it takes. When I got home food was cold and pizza wasn’t up to usual standard. It pissed me off as I got a kid and my wife yelling at me. She had to get her something else. Previous dine in experience, service sucked and couple dishes just weren’t good chicken was undercooked.

I honestly like their lunch more than their dinner. Some of those sandwiches are great. But I won’t be back again.

I just think central is better as of late. There’s prob posts of me here praising b and c in past but to me lately it has fallen off. Just my opinion

Yeah, their service definitely fell off a bit since Madison left.

I had a waiter drop a slice of pizza face down on my jacket for lunch a while back. He had been acting spaced out when we ordered and then he did that. I don’t know if he was high, or if he’s just a clutz, but it pissed me off. They did get it dry cleaned for me though.

I haven’t been very many times in the past 6 months (maybe 3 times or so), but before that we’d go weekly, and sometimes multiple times per week

I've been hearing good things about Market Eatz and the building looks great!

Also I love Alesi's pizza but it's certainly very greasy. Extra sauce a must.

Cmon out. If you see a redhead working there, it’s one of my brothers. And if you see a red beard eating there in the corner booth it’s me lol

I went to Cafe Bella a few weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about that meal and that’s not common. I got the braised pork shank and some kind of potatoes. Potatoes were decent but the pork shank was delicious. Looking forward to eating that again.
