Tomato basil soup and chicken pesto pasta. That's it and that's all.
I love that you can buy the soup in groceries. Pair that up with a homemade grilled cheese

I use to get the tomato soup all the time and then I realized the calorie content and haven't gotten it since. It's pure cream and tomatoes mixed together.
A bowl with a sandwich is 1,200-1,500 calories.

A rich tomato soup is pretty easy to make too, and you can put as little cream as you want.

The lemon tart is about the only thing I like on their menu and I have tried it all

The original is near my house and it used to be really good. But when the guy that started it, Patrick Esquire(SP)sold to an investment group, it went downhill quick. He has since come back as a spokesman for a new investment group owner but he is not really involved with day to day operations.

It's your basic lady's restaurant. Small portions, overpriced and kitschy decor. Everyone says they like the tomato basil soup, TBS is to lady's chains what SAD (spinach artichoke dip) is to sports bars. As others have pointed out, it is simple to make.
But overall, it's ok, just boring.

I think their portions are just the right size

I'm always confused on how to order when I walk in there. Is there a menu? Am I supposed to know what I want before I go in? Are there items I can order that aren't on the cafeteria line?
hmmmmm

But maybe I'm just retarded.

We've always loved La Madeleine. Their menu items are a lot tastier than the overrated Panera Bread. Perkins Rowe location seems a little better than Bocage.

Seriously? It's not that complicated.

Have you been to Bocage location lately?

I had breakfast at that location within the past couple of months. Have they recently changed things?

Not much. Seems like they're behind sometimes and not as efficiently run as the Perkins Rowe locale.

Overrated. But the tomato soup is damn good.

went to Perkins Rowe location a couple of weeks ago, girl working yelled at lady in front of me "whatchu need, maam?"
girl taking my order was super confused.
Then my food came out, was missing pasta salad.
But on the up side, I only ordered half sandwich and they gave me a whole
I prefer the Jefferson location.
I like to get the duet magnifique (half) chicken salad sandwich, pasta salade, and cup of potato soup. I usually take the sandwich or the pasta salad home, because it's too much food/carbs for one meal.
Chicken friand is good but way overpriced.
I only get a dessert if I have the birthday coupon. Coconut cream cake is delicious but so unhealthy I only have it once a year.
French onion soup is also really good.
