I’m pretty sure the last time I went to a Dunkin Donuts was in the 90’s.

The donuts were horrid and I doubt they’ve changed.

Not a fan of KK either, but their donuts are edible.

KK all day every day. And plain glazed only. Anyone else not like any donut chocolate? I've never had one I like very much. And I love chocolate. Weird.

I can understand why someone may not like them, since they are so sweet and sugary.

What is amazing is to take a KK donut and nuke it for about 10-15 seconds. Turns it into donut candy.

Dunkin's donuts are not very good, but their coffee is top notch. If we're putting everything together, I'll give slight edge to KK.

This one reportedly just shut down. It's basically the only place I'd ever eat a Krispy Kreme donut - stopping on the way out on a road trip to the beach or elsewhere.

There are several locally owned donut shops in Houston that are better than every other corporate donut place, except for KK.
i wouldn't go to krispy kreme over any of the donut shops within 5 miles of me in 77008 except for maybe the dunkin donuts lol. those might be the two worst donut shops i've had.

Dunkin's donuts always taste the same as a grocery store donut that's been sitting on the counter for 3 days. I think they are more of a watered down Starbucks with regards to their business model. People go there for their iced coffees, not for their donuts.

You need to have their devils food cake hot off the conveyor. Bet you’ll like it.

They sell a shite ton of coffee in grocery and warehouse stores.

ETA: and online.

Last time I stopped was heading to Paris Island for a Graduation. That was a few years ago.

Baton Rouge - has to be 6 or 7 years since I have had KK. Don't get to North Baton Rouge often.

Denham - I stopped there a couple months ago for the first time on a recommendation. Was very good. Probably will be back.... in a year or two.

Walker - Maybe do this a couple times a year.

Gulf Port. been there maybe 3 times. Just remember it.

So yes, I rarely eat donuts, unless you consider 1 or 2 times a year a lot.

I don't eat donuts often, but my wife recently wanted some to take to her family.

When the hell did a dozen glazed Krispy Kremes start selling for $15? Last time I bought donuts prior to that, I think a dozen were around $5.

When the Dunkin Donut coffee craze took off I looked into a franchise for Alexandria, they were cheap but you had to open a couple. So, having never eaten at Dunkin I figured I would go check it out. Coffee was ok....the donuts were awful, just terrible everything. There would be no way I would put my name near that bullshite...not to mention I cant imagine it would stay open more than a year.

Krispy Kreme by a mile.
