Nothing better than a fresh off the conveyor KK, I grew up in Mobile and there was a KK right down the street from my house, when the Hot Fresh sign was on the car would magically on its own would swerved into the parking lot. (that also happens when a Krystals is near)

Didn't get donuts today. I didn't feel like driving down to the ghetto today to fulfill a guilty pleasure.

Next weekend though I'll be swurvin to NBR to get that goodness.

On plank road and at some gas stations around the city. ive actually seen krispy kreme trucks delivering them, but i have no idea hiw fresh they are. The best place imo is on highland rd next to family dollar and new gas station. shite is real good and stays tasting fresh even after 2 days in my fridge. Sara/mary lee isnt bad, i just find their customer service to be shite. Even some grocery stores dont have bad donuts or they have KK. Just depends what part of town you live in.

Depends on which Mary Lee. The Mary Lee in Drusilla Shopping Center...the doughnuts have an odd aftertaste that's a cross between onion powder and how nail polish remover smells. The one on Highland, around Kenilworth, is better.

I have heard the opposite. my friend said the dunkin doughnuts are more like cakes
Damn that's disappointing to hear. I was looking forward to a good, hot one with some coffee.

Only one is on Plank. If Mary Lee ain't hot it's garbage. Still not as good as KK. Nothing like getting KK donuts right off the conveyer. Come apart trying to take them out of the box. Eat yourself sick.

By the way, what is up with it on Plank Rd. I didn't think black folks liked donuts.

KK and the Burger King across the street used to be the place to hang before school started when I went to RHS.

Krispy Kreme has been on Plank since way before it was the ghetto. Mary Lees in denham and central are legit. Drusilla Mary Lee is not IMO. I am in Houston so I will be partaking of Shipley Donuts before I leave to go back to BR. Dunking Donuts in other states are always better than the one in Metairie and I will not eat any at the Sherwood location unless that old Taco Bell building is bulldozed and they rebuild.

KK is the tits to me. Only time I get them is if I go to the airport or if, for some reason, I feel the need to go to a Redemptorist home game.

Yes I am.

I live in the KK hotbed.

Once they sit in those boxes they get soggy and the sugar melts off of them.

8 seconds in the microwave makes them better than nothing, but still an inferior product.

Piss on whomever said Heavenly Donut. That sucked this morning. Southern Maid and Tastee are the best. KK is the worst.
