You need to change your slicing angle when to get to the point so that you're not cutting with the grain.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest a video on how to slice a brisket but he did say he was a novice and it looked like it turned out pretty good so I let it go.

I can see why all these smokemasters on YouChube smokin' look like bloated corpses. I feel like I have cancerous growth in my colon and the poop I took this AM can be detected 4 rooms away

Update - So I knew that brisket would be really great the night I made it.
What I didn't realize is that for the next week afterwards, we'd be able to take a strategic pinch of beautiful brisket meat / fat, heat it for 20 seconds, sprinkle some Zatarains seasoning on it, slap it on a fancy cracker, and have the best hors d'oeuvres in the world.
leftover brisket is AMAZING and LIFE CHANGING. Just ate the last bit with some eggs and a biscuit
