Hey man congrats on ordering the one thing that takes the longest. I've went to izzos while they were busy and waited over 20 minutes for 1 quesadilla. You ordered 2 and maybe they had customers come in after.

Nothing in Izzo's should take longer than 5-6 minutes to prepare. I'm still not understanding why OP waited a full 30 minutes unless he's just terrified of confrontation. Anyone with a brain would ask for an update on their order after 10 min wait max

Normal people would have went up after about 10 minutes and asked about their order.
That must have been fun sitting in their for 30 minutes.

Maybe they don't like whiny beta hetero males. I'm sure you've run into that before.

Wife and I went to Freebird's (the Texas equivalent to Izzo's) last week and there were a bunch of people standing around the take-out area waiting on a to-go order. The regular line had just a few folks in it.

We walk in, get in the line, order, pay, eat. We leave 30 minutes later and those same people are sitting there waiting for take-out.

Apparently there were 4 people on the main line and 2 people making to-go orders. I wondered why the people waiting didn't just go get in the normal line when they arrived and told them to make it "to go" and said they already paid when they got to the end.

After living in Texas for a decade I cannot fathom ever eating at Izzo’s ever again.

You need to email corporate

I do it all the time. I basically eat for free half the time. Hell even when places don’t F up my food I’ll still call and complain. I’ll always get at least a free bean burrito or a small fry out of it

What's wrong with ordering ahead? I always use their online ordering because it gives you a big checklist of items you may not have even known they have.

When you're my height and hard of hearing, trying to build your own in person is often unsuccessful.

Yup. Same thing at Jimmy Johns. My order is typically a little too complicated for the workers to comprehend sometimes.

Not their fault really. I’m just a psycho.

Ozzie has definitely put the Izzos stores on the backburner and now focusing on LIT .. the Izzos on Corporate is terrible, always seems dirty and workers just dont really care.. while LIT on Corporate is great

I’m a big Izzos fan.

I’ve noticed something different the last two times... usually they “measure” your choice of meat, now they load it up. I’m not complaining but got damn, they couldn’t even get my burrito closed the other day and I just order meat, cheese, rice.
