I have to get a bunch of work done at the deer camp Saturday morning, so something easy. Probably smoke some wings.

I'm doing a wing cookoff in Oct, I'm going to start perfecting my recipe this weekend.

Thinking smoked, then fried naked. Not sure on the sauce yet.

It's a fundraiser for the school my daughter attends. 5K Run and chicken wing cook off. I think it's the 2nd weekend of October. $100 to enter and you have to cook 50 lbs of wings minimum.

Think I’ve got my menu set:

Smoked pork butt for sandwiches
Smoked green onion sausage
Whole backstrap (either going to sear and eat or stuff and bake)
Blue cheese slaw
Pinto beans

I'm going to crockpot some Mac and cheese likely...the protein is up in the air. If I find a good steak deal I may get one but if not, may do something more simple

Smoked turkey and a few beef plate ribs. Boiled peanuts for snacking. Haven't decided on sides yet.
