Than In-n-Out?
And who’s to blame-
In-n-Out
Or the people who over-hype that shite?

I think Chick Fil A is worse. Every sandwich looks like someone stepped on it before serving.

Olive Garden is pretty overrated.

5 Guys for me. It's Sonic with a bunch of shite piled on top and a bag of soggy fries.

Yes. Many things.

By whom? Seems like more of a punchline than anything.

Would you believe those shitty soggy overpriced fries are INTENTIONALLY that way?
They are purposefully NOT CRISPY and they aim for fries with a internal ‘mashed potato consistency’
Who wants that???

i want fries that are crispy in the outside soft in the inside.

Canes is easily more overrated.

their fries are the worst...but a double/double is good...they excel at fresh crispy produce which makes a fast food burger good or very bad. Most do not deliver crisp cold lettuce, tomatoes and onions like In & out does regularly. I add green chilliest to my double.

Ate at In N Out for the first time a few days ago. Got a double double animal style. Not a bad burger. The fries were kind of meh. I'd put it on par with Steak N Shake.
Chk-Fil-A is more overrated to me.

Where else can you pull up and get chicken noodle soup and a fruit cup?
Posted on 10/22/24 at 7:46 pm to SportsGuyNOLA
The build up may be a little much, but I can go in there and get a good burger and a cup of water for well under 5 dollars.
I can’t eat anywhere cheaper than that at this point.

CFA so overrated that they're 2nd to McDonalds in sales and are closed 52 days out of the year on purpose? They consistently put out a decent meal and have a pretty large variety of food options.
Cane's has mastered the art of efficiency. Cheap to go boxes/plasticware/napkins/cups, frozen/mass-produced fries and buns. ONLY serving one protein option. A sauce that people will pay extra for that is maybe 6 Tbsp. It's generally consistent and hard to mess up. $15 for a box is probably $2 or $3 true cost of the food itself. Give Todd a round of applause for swindling the world.
In-N-Out is fine. Nothing wrong with it. Highly consistent and relatively quick while also being fresh and made to order. For the price it's good. The problem is they are exactly like how people from Texas cannot shut up about Schlotzysky's/Dr Pepper/Whataburger/Shipley's. It's merely a local company that locals put on a pedestal just because they have a geographical association to it.
Five Guys is very fresh and made to order as well. It's expensive but good. You will be overwhelmed by their fries and that's probably the best bang for your buck there. Argument can be made that it's a fast casual restaurant and shouldn't be in the same conversation as traditional fast foods.

It’s very overrated to me. When I was stationed in So Cal while in the Air Force, I never understood the hype and appeal other than it was cheap.
