Green Spot is the best of the Spots. Despite there being more expensive ones.

Really want to get some Knappogue 12/15 year old, maybe get lucky and find a bottle of their 21 Year.
Irish is SO much more enjoyable than cask bourbon or scotch...just my .02

I have a bottle of Kavanaugh Toasted French Oak I need to open up. Found it at TW last year but was putting it off til March for Irish Whiskey Month.

What am I going to find if I venture into Irish whisky as someone who has done a ton of bourbons and scotches over the years? I have been to the Jameson distillery in Ireland, it was fun but I barely got a taste. I could convince myself to branch out next time if it's a style with some depth to it.

I would like to add Bushmills 16 to the list of Knappogue 12, Red Breast 15, Green Spot, and Jameson 18.

Method and Madness is really good. I've had the bourbon barrel aged and the Sherry Barrel aged, and they were both great.

I'm not the person to explain it - I just know a few years back I was struggling with bourbon and a guy put me on Jameson and iI've been pretty exclusive since.
Just know it's a smoother drink overall.
