Late to the party but i celebrated with a Mikkeller Single Hop Series "Amarillo" IPA. It was a damn fine IPA, but not the best value as it was $5.99 for 12oz. I planned to drink a Stone IPA and compare the two, but I spent all day fishing in the blistering heat and was asleep by 9:30. I'll post a pic of the Amarillo IPA as soon as I find my memory card adapter as it was a beautiful beer. Id recommend it to anyone who loves IPA's and doesn't mind splurging a little. However, I'm sure there are similar tasting IPA's to be found for a much better value.

I drank nothing last night. I prefer not to associate with amateur hour. Actually, I rode my bike for 2 hours in the 106 degree heat. Came home, took a cold shower, ate and crashed.

I'll post our pictures later if you want to reflect on our ipa massacre last night.

No comparison. I made an all amarillo hop wheat ipa that I drank on last night that is a grapefruit bomb, perfect summer beer. The Stone IPA is bitter and much less fruity.

You must not be an IPA guy at all, cause that's an awesome beer.
