What is everyone planning on drinking after work today? The end of the day is a long way off but I need something to get me through the day.

Here is what I am bringing to the IPA tasting tonight:
Bridgeport IPA

BrewDog Bashah

I haven't tried it yet... good to know it gets good praise. I can't think of anything I've had from BrewDog that wasn't good though. Not all worth the price tag, but all good.

This has kept me from trying any of them so far. Same goes for Mikkeller and a few others. It seems like I've been seeing alot more bottles roughly 16 oz going for $10-12 lately.

I had the Bashah a while back and thought it was pretty good but not worth buying again. Hence I have yet to buy it again. Or I could always be thinking of something else. i need to start taking good notes like Dustin is trying to do.

Brewdog and Mikkeller are two of my favorite breweries at the moment. I may need to get a 2nd job just to continue liking them though. I tried the bashah and really liked, found out it was retired, so I bought a couple more from whole foods the other day.

Same here... I do sometimes and then other times I totally forget to. I usually at least take pictures so I can blog about the beers and remember them, but I need to be better about tasting notes.

Hmmm, well if I like it enough, I might have to get a few more and try cellaring one.

Definitely be downing some of my Citra/Amarillo IPA I have on tap. Probably stop by the store and pickup some others that I haven't tried before.

All I have on hand is a couple of Harpoons and a few Sweetwaters, BUT I do have a local stop planned on the way home to hopefully find something a little more special for the celebration.

I just got an app for my iPhone called brew review so I could do the same. I'm not into the fine details of tasting, but it's nice to have to keep track of stuff I've drank and if I liked it or not.

Sometimes I just review straight onto BeerAdvocate through my phone... I find they aren't as lengthy and detailed as when I'm at a computer, but who really wants to sit with a beer in front of the computer? It's still effective to note my overall impression of the beer and a few key points on the flavors.

I don't have a great palate, so I go on beer advocate and open up one page for me to review and one for me to read other reviews. I pick through them to figure out what I'm tasting. I'm getting better but i can't describe the subtle tastes without someone telling me what they are. Most of the time I hate reviewing and just want to enjoy the damn beer.

This would make me feel so much more of a beer geek than I already feel.
