So, out of these restaurants, what has your favorite appetizers? I haven't been to any of these places in over 3 years. Any bottle recommendations are also welcome as i shall be imbibing as well.

Little Village
Ruffino's
Nino's
Gino's
DiJulio's
Pinetta's

I read your post wrong. My bad. They might be able to make it for you tonight if you ask.

I can't remember anything I've had there that i didn't like.

Oyster DiJulio app is fantastic. They also serve some kind of roasted garlic and bread appetizer which I had on new years eve.

The crawfish arancine at Gino's is one of the best things I've ever eaten in BR

I agree on Gino's arancine and Lawrence bread. I'll add the caprese, as well. It's very good and the juices/dressing is excellent soaked up into some Lawrence bread!!!

I've grown up on Gino's arancini so it just doesn't do much for me anymore and I don't get excited about bread.

Ninos.

I'd say the antipasti, the gnocchi, the crabcakes. Appetizers.

Any pasta. Good pizzas too.

Nice wine list albeit a bit overpriced. My suggestion, bring one, buy one. Corkage I forget but it's minimal.

Carpe Diem Cab, couple of Mollydookers but the Blue Eyed Boy while a great wine is overpriced. Nice Kenneth Volk Pinot and the Saldo is priced right.

Ruffinos would be pizzas, the eggplant, the short ribs and the pork cheeks. Not a fan of the crabmeat cheesecake but many love it. They have a good arancini too.

Plus out of all you requested Ruffin has the best wine list and price point. Here as well, bring one, buy one.

But never bring a bottle the restaurant carries. That's pretty rude.

I love DiGuilios but I normally go after church for Sunday brunch so I don't have to wait two hours. Then it's bloody's and mimosas.

Gino's could do itself a big favor with a complete revamp of its wine list. It is very old and stale.

I don't do Little Village at all so that's all I got.

Gino's doesnt currently have crawfish arincini... Just ground beef. Their lamb chops are great.

Cannot go wrong with Ginos, Ninos, or Dijulios.....

Apparently, I need to get to Ginos. I like Ruffinos, but I enjoyed my couple of times at Pinettas and no one mentioned them.. must be missing something at Ginos

Pinettas spaghetti and meatballs is about it. Anything else you are risking your health. And the service is really bad. Wine blows.
