Staying in the South Lake area but can Uber anywhere. What are some good places to try?

Pink Door or Spinasse. Maybe Ray’s Boathouse for the setting.

I don’t know any restaurants I’d recommend but the famous fish market was incredible. The smoked salmon was incredible as where oyster shooters.

I believe I went to a place called Ivar’s that was pretty good. It had a damn nice view and the food was decent.

DM J Kenji Lopez Alt - he’d probably respond to you - he lives up there.

I wouldn't eat or drink anything while there. You may catch the liberal.

Seattle has really good food. You’ll enjoy most places you go, just check some reviews before.

Try geoduck.

And drink some beer. Cloudburst, Holy Mountain, and Reuben’s are good.

Friend,

If you like sushi, Sushi Kashiba is excellent. See TulaneLSU’s top 10 dishes at Sushi Kashiba

There are some decent pizza stops in Seattle, but one that is more historic than decent is Shakey’s Pizza.

I like Harbor Seafood for Chinese food, but my review of it seems to have been deleted.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

I don't know the dining scene in Seattle very well but can recommend a few spots I went to:

If you have a free morning or lunch break, check out Old Salt and Sea Wolf Bakers in Fremont. They're right next to each other so you can double dip.

If you want something convenient to South Lake Union, https://www.babarseattle.com/ has a location likely within walking distance of your hotel.

A visit to Seattle must include a walkthrough of the Pike Place Market if you can fit it into your schedule. For a meal nearby, Le Pichet was one of Bourdain's go-to recommendations.
