Had it for the first time and it did not live up to the crazy hype.

With that said it was a good burger. The fries were so overrated. No flavor and needed seasoning. The shake was great.

I don't believe anything could live up to the hype that gets piled on In-N-Out

Based on your description of the fries, I know you didn't get Animal Style. First mistake

Live in Katy, TX. We have one of the newest and farthest East here. Have been once, wasn't impressed and may or may not go back.

Your first mistake on this thread. I did get animal style fries

Think about it. Everyone has given me the run through on what to get. You think I didn’t know to get the animal style fries.

Same here. Had burger and fries on Monday. Burger always hits the spot, great prices too. Not a big fan of the fries, would like them better if they cooked them a little longer.

Same here I rather the Freddy's on the south side of 10 if I am in the mood for a thin patty fast food burger.

You've come to the right place. Ten plus pages of negative comments about In n Out and blah blah blah...

Burger is good enough for me to keep going back, but the fries never inspire much confidence - almost always lukewarm.

Over priced? It’s cheap as hell

I really like Freddy’s. They’re probably the most underrated fast food chain around. My only issue with them is that all of their Louisiana locations are somewhat out of the way for me. Yet, every time I go out of my way to eat there, I’m always glad I did.

I went, got the fries “animal style” and threw about 80% of them in the garbage where they belonged.

Even still, if you have to smother your fries to make them palatable, they’re still shitty fries.

Honest question: Who is "crazy hyping" In N Out burger? And why would you believe that hype anyway? If someone told you Gatlinburg was a world class vacation spot would you believe them? It's fast food ffs.

I like In-n-Out. Great service. Sort of the CFA of fast food burger joints.

Food wise, no complaints but I go with fast food expectations.

That's why I'm drawn to the place. The food is OK.
