I like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and other Asian cuisines. I like Indian and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean.

For some reason I just can't like Thai food. It seems too oily and tastes and smells funny to me.

Anyone else? I had to get this off my chest.

I think it tastes oily as well. Indian food is hit or miss for me.

I like Japanese over all other "asian" food. Chinese and thai would be 2nd. Vietnamese and korean tie 3rd

Mediterranean is badass

Yeah, I feel bad. I have friends who love Thai food and we seem to get dragged to Thai places a lot. I have friends who are Thai and I just can't get into the food. Something about the oiliness and the seasoning and I think they don't spice chicken and pork well.

I can eat Thai seafood okay though.

Love Thai and dig the high level of spice. Never do Indian; not a curry fan.

I like spicy food as well. Food just seems too oily for me and the smells are goofy.

Thai food is easily my favorite cuisine. I make lamb moo once a week.

100% agree with the OP. I’ll eat just about any food, but have yet to discover any Thai food that I took more than 1 bite of.

The average Thai food -- as I have experienced it in various cities -- seems quite different in each of those respective areas.

Pad Se Ew is one of my favorite dishes. It’s probably in the top 5 most eaten meals that I had in 2019.
