Had brunch there yesterday. Had the corn and crab bisque and shrimp and grits. It was very good. I haven't been to GI in 7-8 years. Seems like the area is a lot nicer that I remembered last time.

Got take-out a couple weeks ago and was really impressed with the appetizers.

my father in law loves their banana daquiris, I honestly had no idea those even existed until he showed up with one

Both of those dishes look good, but I would never want or put shredded parmesan cheese on them, which is what it appears they did there. That's sort of strange.

Love that place. Did you go look at the boats in the back?

They also own Yum's on the Island which is pretty good as well.

I honestly prefer Yum's, I found the portion/price ratio out of whack, especially bringing the kids. The food was good, but Yum's is good too and the prices for the same food are cheaper. I HIGHLY doubt they are using different sources for seafood and ingredients, just HH cost more. The place is beautiful, and the boats out back are hella nice, I guess if it was just me and the wife I would go to HH but she probably would pick Yum's anyway.
