I have had a Cuban that was served on a pretzel bun on occasion, and I have to say, it was pretty spectacular.
I'll go ahead and downvote myself for that.
ETA - I worked on a project in Miami for a year, and had some pretty awesome Cubans. Some pretty mediocre ones, too.

If you ever find yourself in the Lafayette/Scott area, there is a place called Pepins that makes an unreal authentic cuban. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Cuban is the best sandwich in America.
Ironically, I spent several hellish days in Havana, and all the Cuban sandwiches I tried were dry and inadequate.

Mrs. FCP enjoys her some various shite at City Pork. Her loving hubby enjoys sampling every drink on the menu. And the flaming cheese thing, too.
I mean, I haven't had anything that was terrible, and a lot of their dishes are actually pretty good. At least to my unrefined palate.
