3, 4, 5 ? looks like the sons, daughters, cousins, nephews, and in-laws have all opened shop and are piggy-backing on the Randazzo family name

... Timeline

Felix and Joel Randazzo Forjet are continuing the Randazzo’s family tradition of baking, that started during 1965 in St. Bernard Parish.

April 1, 1965

Goodchildren Bakery Shoppe was located on East Judge Perez Drive in Violet and was named for the previous name of Judge Perez Drive, Goodchildren Street.

1996
Randazzo’s Hi-Lan Bakery in Chalmette closed, but reopened for 1997 Carnival season. Their doors never reopened after Lundi Gras.

Hell, I bet Manny's sells almost as much as all of the other Randazzo's combined. That little place ships out a shitton of cakes and I bed they are sold out of shipping dates from now until Mardi Gras.

Manny's ex I believe is involved in Claudia's in some kind of way and they are moving up quickly.

The Randazzo's Bakery in Chalmette, near Chalmette High on Judge Perez Dr. still sells shoe soles and they have those great chocolate eclairs too.

Randazzo is a fairly common Sicilian family name in the Greater New Orleans area. I know a few who are in no way connected to the St. Bernard Parish bakery family.

Little, long-gone, single-location grocery/beer store on Fourth Street highway in Marrero was my dad's go-to in the 1960s and 1970s. Building is now a barbershop.
