It's pretty strong. My wife is a fan of the Shrimp Roberto (stuffed shrimp, wrapped in bacon, then fried).
Last time I was there, I got the Shrimp Billy (crawfish etouffee over fried shrimp). That was tasty.

Call and see if those arse holes fixed their air condition yet. Last time we went, their was no ac, so they just put shitty fans on the grounds with wires everywhere. The place is a shite hole. And it isn't even charming old. It's just old and junk.

Food was decent always except for the night without ac. It was horrible that night.

Everyone on this board will agree that Louisiana Lagniappe is a better pick. Go there man.

What are the prices? More like L. Lagniappe? Or the Chimes?

Their menu has no prices listed.

I wanna say the prices are around the Chimes. Like the Shrimp Roberto and Shrimp Billy are around $15-$16. We went there for lunch on Mardi Gras, got two meals, soft drinks, dessert and coffee and it was around $40 with tip.

Roberto's is more upscale than Chimes, more similiar to LL in pricing.

Apps: $8-$12
Entrees: $15-25

i think prices are on par with chimes, except roberto's has some higher quality dishes that are a little more than chimes. for what it is, definitely worth it to me. whatever the shrimp dish is with the bell peppers, get that. it is amazing

Why would you sit with no AC?

I like it. He's upped his wine list a bit too.

He has a house behind it you can get for a private function. It's nice
