ive heard its fun. Food, music, etc.

Everyone from there loves it, not the same for BR.
But these girls broke my heart and made fun of me. And they look down on me. My friends also never go so i dont have a chance to go.

I find it hard to believe that good Korean girls would act like that

You sound mentally challenged.

And where is this Korean BBQ place?

Please elaborate, because as a Lafayette native, I just don’t see it. Only restaurant in Lafayette I make a point of going to is Pamplona. Pretty much anywhere else worth going to, I can get in Baton Rouge.

For "nice" restaraunts you've got:

Marcello's
Charlie G's
French Press (if you can get past the service)
Pamplona
Ruffino's

If you want international variety:

Mexican:

Lafonda - most people either love or hate this place
Picante
La Hacienda
La Pagua
El Portrillo
Cafe Habana City (Cuban)
and dozens more, but those are my favorites

Italian:

Antoni's
Alesi's
Marcello's
La Pizzeria
kinda thin on Italian, but it's available

Indian:

Marsala...that's it

Asian:

Grayson's - best Pho in town IMO
Pho Saigon
Mae Sone Noodle House
Peking Garden
Sonny's
Osaka
Tsunami
and dozens more...

Greek/Lebanese:

Athena
Zeus
Various sleeper-cell gas stations with fire arse gyro and shwarma

For laid back Americana type food:

Deano's Pizza
Pizza Village
Central Pizza downtown
Judice Inn
Twins Bakery
Legend's
Fat Pat's
Johnson's Boucaniere
Pop's Poboy's
Old Tyme Grocery
Taco Sisters
Pepin's Grocery (cubano sammies)

That's off of the top of my head and I've tried to leave out places that are not unique to Lafayette like Ruth's Chris', Drago's, Walk On's, etc....

There's a place on the west coast called GEN that has a smattering of locations. It's an all you can eat Korean BBQ with about 30 meats on the menu for all of somewhere around $25. High quality and meat diversity as well. Hard to find a place that has both small and large intestine all you can eat at that price.

You should open up a franchise in BBQ. I'll visit when I'm in town.

Baton Rouge does need a Korean BBQ and I too am surprised and disappointed there is not one here. I have contemplated about opening one and I think it would be successful if done properly, but based on other things don't think I would have the time to give it the focus.

The Asian restaurants in Baton Rouge are awful. IMO, good Korean BBQ is not cheap, and the people who will associate it with "Chinese food" will not see the difference in good food and the $5.99 combo w/ drink buffet grade food.
