Nancy's Hustle.

Yes, that's a real name. I had like 12 different things and they were all amazing

I like Dak n Bop wings a lot.

Also, next door, Barnaby’s of all places for wings. Big, nice crunch, just wish they had a buffalo flavor.

Goode BBQ is like Luther’s quality now. Cafe Adobe closed almost a decade ago.

Would y’all mind throwing up some suggestions in downtown/Minute Maid or a close Uber right from downtown?

Going down for the LSU series next weekend and staying a Club Quarters on Fanin St

Stanton’s City Bites has the best burgers in Houston. Somewhat near downtown.

Fight me.

Rodeo Goat, Saint Arnold's (hate away)

In east downtown...OG Ninfa's on Navigation is always a popular suggestion, but I prefer El Tiempo next door. It's Mama Ninfa's recipes that her grandson has improved on. If you go to Ninfa's...I'm a fan of the octopus tacos.

Nancy's Hustle is also in east downtown but good luck getting a reservation.

Midtown-Oporto, Wanna Bao (pretty legit soup dumplings outside of Chinatown), Thien An is my favorite Vietnamese place outside of Chinatown.

Montrose-UBPreserv(brunch is the best way to get most of the menu), Candente, Georgia James, Hay Merchant

Upper Kirby-Eunice, State of Grace

Houston is the BBQ capital of the world. Shouldn't leave town without visiting one of the many fine BBQ joints in town.

The Pit Room is probably closest to Minute Maid. But others include:

Corkscrew in Old Spring
Roegels off Voss.
Killens in Pearland
Truth
Pinkertons
Brett's BBQ Shop in Katy

Jackson street Bbq is across the street from Minute Maid. Not on the same level as pit room no doubt.
