Make it a good hot dog joint. I don't mind the $5 jumbo, Mac and cheese with an egg but please just give me the option of a good dog, steamed bun with mustard, relish, onions and maybe a good Greek chili for a couple of bucks.

There is one hot dog place in town and you are opening one right next to it?

That's pretty close to Frankie's. What is the thought process on that? Not flaming just curious.

Dat dog here would be good.

Frankies used to be pretty good, they changed owners numerous times and the quality went down fast.

Dat Dog Enterprises president and COO Bill DiPaola says the company hasn’t selected locations for the restaurants just yet. But a variety of sites are being scouted, he says, including along Burbank and Lee drives, Highland Road, Government Street and the Perkins Road overpass area. The initial restaurant should open by late this year or early next year.

So, next door to Frankie's? Got it.

Do this, no matter where you are. It's a fricking hot dog. Offer fancy options if you must, but make simple options available too. Hell, I'd love to be able to get an awesome quality plain dog and just have a quality condiment bar.

Sams is the correct answer. They have 1/4 pound Nathan's hot dogs for about $1.50 with a drink.
