They used to. Don’t know if they do these days or not.

I go to that salon. They sent a couple of emails out regarding parking.

quote:

We are emailing you regarding the new parking issue we are experiencing at the salon due to the recent opening of Superior Grill and the renovations at Robert’s Grocery. Firstly, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are currently working on a plan to increase the parking for the salon. Eventually we will have parking spots around the entire salon with signs that designate salon parking only. This plan will be implemented in the very near future and we ask for your patience while construction occurs. We do own the area in front of our salon near the salon sign and the back grassy area, so you are welcome to park there as well. We also ask that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to your appointment to ensure the availability of a parking spot. If you find that you are still having difficulty finding a parking spot at the time of your appointment please contact Jessica, our Salon Coordinator. This will be a hectic time for us, but we are very excited for this new addition to our lovely neighborhood and we welcome them with open arms!

Makes sense. FWIW, I don't think blocking off parking makes you an arse or anything. I just think that maybe signs should say "From X time to Y time" since Superior's peak hours are when these businesses are closed. Maybe I would be pushover business owner though

I was told owner of Superior made a big effort to reach out to the salon and all the surrounding businesses to make sure parking wouldn't cause any tension. So it sounds like they're all on good terms for now, especially after reading that last sentence in the email.

I just don't get it. The food is no better than all the other Mexican places in town and it is far more expensive. Their margaritas are super strong but, IMO, do not taste better than other places. I guess if the #1 quality you look for in a restaurant is a fun atmosphere then this would be your favorite place. I just want some good food and not have to pay a shite ton for it, so this place is horrible for me.

Superior Grill trivia -
To expand on Highland Road Superior Grill bought the entire parcel of land including Roberts Grocery and all of the other retail business.
Their new landload is Superior Grill - O would suggest they learn to all get along respectfully. Cheers

I think the poster is saying, Superior bought all the land the other businesses ar on so that they are tenants. Or maybe not.

I am pretty sure that it is not accurate. As far as I know, Superior is just a lessee. Even if Superior did buy the center, they wouldn't own the salon parcel, which a separately owned tract.

I went Saturday for lunch with the family
The atmosphere is great and the food was good
Looks like the exact same layout as Gov't St.
Very upset the queso is different. It wasn't even good. It was very watery
And the first basket of chips we got was nothing but the bottom of the bag crumbs. I was impressed that the manager was walking around, saw our chips, and told us he'd be right back with a fresh basket
Overall, I prefer the Gov't St. location.

That's not correct. A middle eastern man owns the shopping center and has for the last probably 15-20 years.
