I have a family member that works for the sheriff's dept there. After they left Walmart, one of them got bucked off his horse and a car ran over his leg.

You can't make this stuff up

For Saints games we typically park on the streets around the med center. We usually get out pretty easy and haven't had any safety issues either.

Went about a year ago. Place was empty and it still took forever.
The pizza was disgusting and smelled so bad; like a dirty dishrag.

I agree.
If you're going to do a moment of silence, then you should have done one last week for the catholic school shooting. Or a moment of silence for the anniversary of Katrina.
Honestly, at the rate this country is going, we'd end up having multiple moments of silence every week.

I took my daughter to the bathroom recently (next to the Pavilion) and the seat had been ripped off the toilet. So I wouldn't call that working facilities. It's all bad.
At this moment, it's Messenger Kids. I know it's regulated and parent's can monitor but it still worries me.
Mine are 7 and 9.

We had a back to school get together recently and I was shocked at the number of 9 year olds with smart phones. It's depressing.

It is hard raising kids in this world we live in.
Also overpaid for 300 level to bring our kids. Figure it's really gonna be the last chance.
Board games

Guess Who, Operation, Trouble, etc.

They are made of such crappy flimsy cardboard. It's so cheaply made.

They kept JD in check. I was expecting him to run all over us

Had a similar situation a couple weeks ago. Service was awful and food was meh. Waited about 20min just for water. Drinks and food took forever and we rarely saw our waitress. I think we were there for 3.5 hrs total and not because we were drinking and having a good time; mostly just waiting. The drinks were the star of the show but unfortunately b/c of the bad service we weren't able to try as many as we would have liked.

May give it another chance but not anytime soon.

Just saw on the Dulac Fishing report fb group that there is water.

Was mostly worried about water for clean-up with all that mud

Do yall know if there's running water?

Petit Jean is beautiful but you don't need a week.

You should look into DeGray state park. It's more like a resort and there are lots of activities to do there. I think they are about 2 hrs apart. We did both last summer.

Stomped the Patriots 14 yrs ago today

Jeff Duncan tweet

It was 14 years ago today we stomped the Patriots on MNF. Man, the Dome was rockin’ back then. Those were the days.
That stretch of Burbank is closed off. Drove by about an hr ago and there was a car submerged in probably close to 3’ of water. Up to the windows.
He pulled a Dan Orlovsky last night. He sucks
Saw a homeless man on Saturday near Calliope and Tchoupitoulas cutting the grass at his spot with one of those manual lawnmowers. His “wife” was supervising from their tent. You can’t make this stuff up.

His spot was looking nice though
I was in grad school then. Scary times. I had friends who worked with Murray's roommate at the time. After she was killed the cops gave her roommate a dog from the K9 unit.

We did this with garlic bread. Delicious!
We had a great meal at BarAcuda on the north shore of Kauai

Have you bought the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook yet? It is a must have!

And yes, hiking to the waterfalls and back on the Kalalau trail is a full day and not easy. There is also good hiking around Waimea Canyon.

The North Shore is so amazing!

This is the first time I have ever written to the saints about the game day atmosphere.

Who did you contact? I seem to remember I used to have an email for my rep but now I can only find the generic email.
tickets@saints.nfl.com

I feel compelled to complain

It’s a pre-season game moron. Nobody’s buying those ever.

Had friends in the same situation recently. They had success contacting Kennedy's office.

We actually just got back end of last week. We were able to get the tests done for free at the resort.

You’re in luck. No chance you get the passport that fast after a birth with all the backlog from COVID. Your wife won’t be happy at first, but will enjoy being home with the baby month 2. Have the sister-in-law do a live stream so your wife can watch.

This.

Passport applications are a cluster right now. We applied for our 3 yr olds in February. Got it in June…for our July trip to Mexico.
