We go there a lot. The chicken stuffed with eggplant dressing is a favorite. I hear that the cornbread stuffed chicken is very good but haven't tried it. They have good boudin. I think it's really an undiscovered gem of a product. Their stuffed products are all good and you'll have a good time trying em out and finding out which ones you like best.
I got a turducken from them this past Christmas and covered it with a bacon braid I made. So.. I guess you could say I'm a fan of the place.

When I was a kid, my grandmother would get me the crawfish stuffed chicken for my birthday meal. Loved it. Havent had theirs in quite a while, but it was obviously a fav as a kido.

Shrimp stuffed chicken and the mash potato stuffed chicken are regulars at my house. They have a stuffed shrimp that we get to make shrimp po-boys out of that is top notch as well.

Pretty good stuff. They supposedly invented the turducken many years ago.

Where did they move to ?

I always thought this was just a second location, but they are at 6422 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Youngsville, LA 70592. Small strip shopping center. Across from Stine lumber.

The only one I've been to is the one in Maurice. I've had them ship some things also.

LINK /

They recently opened a store near Dallas, I believe.

Yeah, Hebert is such a common name that I don't know who's associated with whom. There is that strip mall place as Gris Gris mentioned which has boudin but no cracklins btw (grrr), then there's an Hebert's on 90 headed out of Lafayette with good boudin and cracklins but it's just a smaller shack and not really a specialty meat store, and then there's a larger store around Maurice. I have no idea if any of them are related, or if they have affiliation with the website listed above. Can anyone enlighten me on these multiple locations and if they're related?

PS. I just did some checking and the Heberts on off Ambassador Caffery directs me to the same website as the OP. The Hebert's on 90 seems to be just boudin and cracklins.

The one in Addison (just north of Dallas) has either moved or shut down. I used to drive by it everyday on the way to work, and I've noticed that entire shopping center it was in has been cleared out. I don't know what happened.

Wow. That didn't last long, then. I think it opened within the past year, right?

I moved to Dallas from New Orleans a year ago today. But I remember driving by it since last August or September if my memory is correct.

Hebert's main store is in Maurice. They have boudin but no cracklins. The Hebert's store on Ambassador in Youngsville is a satellite. I don't know about the Hebert's on 90 with just boudin and cracklins.

I pick up from there often. People love my "gas station meat" since it's nextdoor to a Chevron. I passed by the original location last week and everything looked normal.
