Don't know much about the food scene there but Southern Prohibition Brewing is located there.

Southern Prohibition brewery is one of the two best in Mississippi, the other being Fly Llama in Biloxi. I highly recommend going to SoPro if you can.

I ate at Crescent City Grill last year when I was passing through and really enjoyed it. Had Eggplant Orleans with fried green tomatoes for a side. Good stuff.

I usually go sit at the Mahogany bar inside Crescent City when I'm in town. It's good stuff. Chesterfields, Murky Waters, Sully's all work too. The Italian place in the shopping center behind Crescent City is pretty good. Can't remember the name ...

Leatha’s

Is this place still any good? They're in a strip mall in Petal and aren't in that old house behind the RV lot on 98 with the pits in the yard. Mrs. Leatha and Miss Bonnie have long passed. A lot of what made that place is gone.

Leatha's. Wherever they ended up, I thought their Barbecue was just OK. But they had a steak on the menu that was legit. They would smoke it, then finish it on the grill. That thing was rolling straight.
