When you get the right person on the grill at Waffle House it is hard to beat for the $$. Most other local breakfast spots have gone crazy in the last few years. I used to eat breakfast at a local place every Saturday and Sunday. A year ago It hit me that I was paying 25 bucks with tip for bacon, eggs, grits and toast.

That Chicken Fried Steak is from the box and there is five in it. That's a serious profit.

20.99 for a mediocre chicken fried steak is nuts. Texas Road House has imo the best chain restaurant CFS around and its 15.99 and thats a pretty big price jump from just a few years ago when it was around $12.00

That is enough food for 2 people. And why are you ordering online from ihop?

4 chicken tenders and 3 pancakes that would never look anything like an online picture in the real world probably wouldn’t be enough for 2 people to be satisfied. You question why the OP is ordering from an online menu of IHOP, yet here you are bitching about a post that’s bitching about IHOP to begin with.

To answer a few questions posed:

Northwest Arkansas, Rogers location

No $19.99 is the on menu price you get on dine in too, this particular location is just crazy expensive. Fayetteville location is a couple bucks cheaper. $13.99 is a fair price and what places like Village Inn and Cracker Barrel charge.

And I’m not ordering all that, I just highlighted a few items on the menu that are particularly egregious. I would dine in there if the prices weren’t insane.

They are putting themselves out of business. No repeat customers once they get robbed once. Customers will fade away.

Can we just talk about the Dubai pancakes? They're truly an abomination. Waffle House ftw. Basic and cheap.
