WTIX is doing a remote from there and playing only songs from 1966.

I first found out about them when I started at EJ in 1972. At that time it was a small grocery store and the EJ students would skip out to get their poboys.
They're mostly famous for their debris style roast beef poboy. Very thin gravy that soaks into the bread.

Great memories there as a kid. My dad passed when I was young, but, he used to always take me there.

I'm not a huge fan of their roast beef. I thought it ed kinda bland and turned the breed into mush. When I worked in that area, I ended up making Mano's my lunch spot.

The one on Clearview is always packed, which works for me to get a much better poboy at Bevi down the street without much wait. Can't believe it has been around that long.

Many people love the thin gravy and soggy bread. But it's not my thing.

It's right by my house. I eat from there about 5 times a month. Can't beat a king roast beef with a bottle of root beer.
Only place I like better for Poboys is Parkway.
