While the prices are much higher, the dishes are almost all still there.
And looking at the prices, they really aren't all that bad.
Perhaps the food isn't all that good anymore?

For all the hype the food is subpar at best.

It's not just the food, the whole experience sucks these days. Crappy service, mauseoleum atmosphere, tourists walking around in jerseys and sandals. No thanks.

it is basically the restaurant in Ratatouille. Great tradition and should be better but has gotten watered down buy years of continued success.
Hard to change when you have been printing money for 176 years
