I've been living on the west coast, and I went to Vegas, where there are Cane's. For less than 8 bucks I got a rather large box combo that I couldn't finish. Fingers, toast nice and big. It really hit the spot. Canes is the best for high quality, cheap, fast and fresh chicken.

Any new place in this area is jam packed the first few days they open. Dunkin Donuts and Dairqy Queen made traffic on Sherwood a nightmare (even more so) for a few weeks. I think a lot of people will eat there once and then realize that Cane's is better.

Sometimes I wonder if this is a case of "absence makes the heart grow fonder ", but I vividly remember having to wait for chicken on more than occasion. They'd top off your drink and hand you a box so full you couldn't close it as a way of saying thanks.

That's how the Lafayette location was for about a month. Not the parking lot is empty every time I pass it.
