Butcher and Peche would be my choices

Peche and Butcher are really nice choices.
I'll throw in a slighly cheaper option with La Casita.

Is American Sector still there? I loved that place.

Its no longer a Besh place.
It is now run by the people that do concessions in the Superdome and elsewhere I think. Centerplate.

I'm far from an expert on everything around there, but I've really enjoyed Peche, Capdeville and Butcher.

That makes it sound bad but I think it might be worth checking out. I've heard some good things. However if I didn't live here and this is a limited opportunity I would have to go to Peche or Butcher.

We went to New Orleans in September and are going back next month.....we ate at Cochon......it's right down the street from the museum.... It was good.... But I realized after that we wanted butcher next door... Will be going to butcher next month when we go back

Little further, but sneaky good choice. Wouldn't be the first place I'd think of.
And OBrah with the La Casita

Technically may be correct (in a loose sense), but the chef is legit and has been given free reign. I recommend giving it a try.

Link restaurant group spots are closed on Sundays with exception of Butcher which is open for brunch only. On a sunday and downtown, just catch a cab to Domenica

I'm pretty sure I've had Sunday brunch at Luke?
